Ealing Broadway car collision leaves 5 People hurt 

Man charged with attempted murder

Man charged with attempted murder after several people hit by car in Ealing Broadway.
Officers were called on Saturday to a report of a car colliding with several people, three of whom were taken to hospital.

 

A man has been charged with five counts of attempted murder after a car hit pedestrians in Ealing Broadway on Saturday.
Three people were taken to hospital, and two were treated at the scene, after Saturday's incident near Marks and Spencer in Ealing Broadway.

 

The Metropolitan Police said Timir Ahmed Mohamed, an Ealing resident, has been charged with criminal damage, dangerous driving, failing to stop, failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Willesden Magistrates' Court on Monday.

 

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We sent a number of resources including ambulance crews, paramedics in fast response cars, a volunteer emergency responder crew and an incident response officer to the scene. We also dispatched London's Air Ambulance.

"We treated three patients at the scene and took one of them to a major trauma centre by road as a priority. The other two patients were taken to a local hospital."

 

Emergency services were swiftly dispatched to The Broadway, W5, at approximately 2:29 pm, following reports of a vehicle striking multiple individuals.
Five pedestrians sustained injuries during the collision.
Two received immediate treatment at the scene, while three others were transported to nearby hospitals.
Fortunately, all injuries are reported to be non-life-threatening and non-life-changing.
The driver involved failed to stop initially but was apprehended shortly thereafter in Grange Park.

Local leaders have expressed their concern and support for those affected.


One council member emphasized the need to enhance safety measures for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers in the area.
Another official praised the swift response of emergency services and the resilience of the community.
Residents and visitors are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
