In a remarkable achievement, Hannah Widdison, headteacher at Stanhope Primary School in Greenford, has been honored as a Silver Winner for Headteacher of the Year in a Primary School at the Pearson National Teaching Awards. This recognition, announced on National Thank a Teacher Day, underscores her exceptional leadership and dedication to education.

 

Expressing her gratitude, Hannah emphasized that the award is a testament to the collective efforts of the entire Stanhope community. She highlighted the school's commitment to fostering inclusion, excellence, and social responsibility, aiming to build a sense of belonging and aspiration among students.

 

Under Hannah's guidance, Stanhope Primary has achieved significant milestones. The school holds the Inclusion Quality Mark Centre of Excellence status and was named Leadership Team of the Year at the National Schools Awards in 2025.
