Haven Grill Meze Mangal — Ealing
Just moments from Ealing Broadway, Haven Grill is an independent, family-owned restaurant specialising in fresh Turkish cooking and the mangal tradition. Charcoal-grilled meats and sizzling skewers are at the heart of the experience, alongside chicken and beef döner and hot and cold meze. Look out for the lamb chops, grilled prawns or a mixed grill if you want to make the charcoal cooking the centre of your visit.

Little Istanbul — Southall
Little Istanbul brings four decades of Turkish culinary experience to Lady Margaret Road, with a menu that rewards a little exploration. Alongside charcoal-grilled lamb and chicken, try the Ali Nazik — chargrilled lamb over aubergine purée, yoghurt and garlic — or traditional lahmacun. Save room for baklava, baked sütlaç or warm künefe if you'd like to finish the meal with a classic Turkish sweet.

Amelia's House — North Acton
Amelia's House offers a more contemporary take on Turkish and Mediterranean dining, with seafood playing a particularly prominent role. Grilled seabass and salmon sit alongside its signature king prawn and halloumi pairing, while the wider offering stretches into meze, chicken shish, beef köfte and Mediterranean-inspired pasta. Add cocktails, brunch and an evening shisha experience and this is as much a night-out destination as a restaurant.

Gökyüzü Park Royal — Park Royal
Gökyüzü is the established name in our selection, with the wider restaurant story dating back to 1999 and its Park Royal location opening in 2023. Expect freshly baked bread, colourful meze, traditional pide and plenty from the charcoal grill, with the mixed grill providing a natural centrepiece for a group meal.
