West Ealing Salon Celebrates 40 Years at the Heart of the Community |

One of West Ealing's longest-established independent businesses has reached a remarkable milestone, celebrating 40 years of serving the local community. Minoo's Hair & Beauty, on The Avenue, welcomed long-standing customers, friends and family to celebrate four decades in business. Many of those attending have been visiting the salon since it first opened in 1986, highlighting the strong relationships that have grown over the years. The celebration wasn't just about looking back. The event also raised £400 for Great Ormond Street Hospital, adding a charitable touch to an already memorable occasion.
Owner Minoo described the anniversary as both joyful and emotional. While celebrating with her children, grandchildren and loyal clients, she also remembered her late husband, Patrick Sullivan, who had been a constant source of support for both her and the business before his passing in 2021.
Beyond providing hair and beauty services, Minoo has played an important role in West Ealing's community life. She helped establish the annual Avenue Christmas Party and the lighting of The Avenue Christmas tree, traditions that continue to bring local residents together each festive season.
As West Ealing continues to evolve, businesses like Minoo's Hair & Beauty remain an important reminder of the value of independent local shops that build lasting relationships across generations.
